Bishop Mark A. Moses, Vice Bishop

Grace and peace be unto you from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We greet each of you, God’s children, in the name of the Lord, thanking God always for His mighty and bountiful blessings bestowed upon us.  As we prepare to embark upon this journey together, putting all our support behind our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Darryl Rouse, let us never forget that our God is in control.

My brothers and sisters, remain prayerful and diligent, listening for the voice and direction of almighty God who has called us to this moment in time.  I impress upon you as the Church of Christ, and Disciples of Christ to consider our church and leadership often.  We understand and are confident in the fact that our God has great things in store for this Northeastern District Assembly; and we are looking forward to working as one to accomplish that which God has assigned to our hands.  Even though we are living in difficult times, we encourage you to remain faithful knowing, as the scriptures declare in Philippians 1:6, “…he that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”  What a blessed assurance that will allow us to live in expectation of the great things God has for us, realizing that every problem ends with a promise; every trial ends in triumph; and every battle will end in victory.  When you have a relationship with God, it is easy to expect Him to do just what He says because He loves you so much.  Therefore, if you are interested in doing the things that please God and bring Glory to His name, while becoming kingdom-minded, we encourage you to join us on this mission as we embrace a new day and a new way, while remaining steadfast in God’s Word.

In conclusion, know this, if you just continue to hold to God’s unchanging hand, trusting him always, knowing that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, then will you experience his perfect peace and declare that “Everything Will Be Alright!”
